What a weekend - You can't top this! Saw the waterfall come out of the rock and jumped off the cliff into Tarawera, ok, and we caught a 10pt stag in the lake - Yahoo! Used a lasso around the horns, the rest is in the newspaper. Thanks Mark.

Catching my first trout - didn't know they came so big in the lake! Stars at night - amazing!! Mountain at anytime - stunning!!! So much to do - so very little time. Best spot in New Zealand. Thank you.

Amazing place. Blue skies and lake, sunny days, starry skies - cold temps - fire was great! Our first experience of the NZ winter! Has topped my list of best baches. Can't wait to come back.  Complete doggie heaven! Thanks for the use of your bach.

Carole and I got married on our stay this time! This was not our first time in this paradise. Marks property and its views are so magnificent that we decided to celebrate one of the most significant days of our life here. Thanks Mark.

This is quite simply one of the nicest places I've ever stayed anywhere in the world. Thank you for sharing it. Highlight was the row out to the middle of the lake on a perfectly clear spring day with no other boats.

A wonderful place to relax in after a busy year. We enjoyed the view and the bush walks in the mornings. The swims off Granny's Wharf were magic.

Your barbeque does great steaks!

The tranquility, peacefulness and beauty of the area are worth a million dollars and better than all the doctor's prescriptions ever taken. Many thanks for a memorable stay.

This is paradise; we have had a lovely time in your holiday home. Superbly set up, with views to match. We hope to have more holidays here. Thank you both.

The worst thing about this place is that you have to leave. Truly refreshing and lovely.

3 great girlfriends, one husband, two teenagers, 3 kiddies and a baby! What a great week. We all came together from the top and bottom of the North Island. A great place for old friends to catch up while the kids have a ball. Great weather, fantastic home. We'll be back!!

Wonderfully hospitable people in this town. Special thanks to John & Shirley Ann for letting us use their fax - we even sold our house while we were away. Yahoo!!

What a view! A perfect spot to walk! Lovely going swimming in the lake.

I loved seeing the kiwis! They were so cute! The mountains are so beautiful and big. Stunning views. Had a great time kayaking. We caught 3 fish (big!) with hardly any previous experience. Thanks again we had a super time.

Fantastic! Magical. I can't wait to come back again! As with my first visit - the vista, the tranquility, walking, the lake edge, the bird life, kayaking, the warmth and generosity of the house. Fantastic!

Paradise found….. will be back.

Great house, cozy fire and good weather mad for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday but not long enough. The first morning we were here there was a beautiful frost. We used our sleds and went down the hill. We don't get that up in Auckland. We'll have to come back and stay longer. It was fun.

Excellent location, fantastic birds - shining cuckoo, tui, bell bird serenaded us each morning - glorious!! Great kayaking - especially loved by our 3 year old daughter and fox terrier!!! Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Lovely views, lovely glow worms, lovely swimming for the kids - too cold for us!!  A duck visited us every day to be fed on the deck. Lovely birds, lovely swans, cygnets and comfy beds!!

Thank you for a week of adventure, culture, learning, laughing, so much and more. We saw thermal pools, geysers, volcanoes, buried village, a hangi, a Maori concert, the museum, the hot water beach. Rotorua by day and night. We kayaked, motor boated and dined at the Landing Café. We kept our 2 pyromaniacs happy for hours and cooked marshmallows. We read books, drank wine, rode in the forest, squealed on the luges and walked the blue lake. We shopped, bathed at the spa and met many wonderful New Zealanders.

All that from one glorious location. BRILLIANT!! Thank you.
